Jed's Grandma Murri sent an email to Jed and told him that while she was writing it, his Grandpa was out Home Teaching. Home Teaching is a responsibility of all male members of the church. They go by twos to their assigned households at the very least once a month. They share a message that is provided by the prophet or one of his counselors, and they also access the family’s needs and help where ever they can. She also said it would be great to get a photo that could be put on the blog for all to see.
Jed did send his mom a photo of himself alongside his companion (Elder Toledo) and it looks like it includes the other companionship in his flat. He didn't send much else, but in his response to his Grandma he says that "... I tried to send some pictures, …[to my mom]… but then the computer stopped working and my camera died, so I'll try again later …” He also mentioned that "...[they are] teaching a family called the Alberts, they're from Guyana, and they're amazing. They've been prepared by the Lord, and it's time for Elder Toledo and I to do our part, and we have been, as much as we can...". He also said sort of jokingly, but I believe he was spot on, that “…Home teaching and missions are pretty much the same.”
I guess that he is doing well. I am proud of the service he is giving to his Heavenly Father, and those in England.
